Information about Stockholm Coin Club

Welcome to the homepage of Stockholm Coin Club.
We are a numismatic collectors club, with the aim to meet fellow numismaticians, share experiences,
news and trade/sell/buy coins and banknotes with each other.
The club was founded 1973, and have about 80 members. We have our meeting place in Sunbyberg.
Adress is Vasagatan 9, house name Bällstahof. It is easily reached by bus 113, 504, 509 or 512.
Commuter train or Metro stop: Sundbyberg, likewise name of stop on the tram line between Solna station and Alvik (tvärbanan).
If you travell with long distance train the stop is also Sundbyberg. The local is also close to Bromma airport. Map/Route description. The location of our club is marked with a cross on the map.
We have meetings once a month, on Tuesdays. A typical meeting consists of going through news and
trading/buying/selling followed by an auction, coffe break and ending with a lottery.
we usually also invites a lecturer to talk about some interesting aspect on numismatics or have a "bigger" auction. For example, 19th of
January 2006 we had invited an expert curator from the Royal coin cabinet, to talk about coin conservation. Se more
